Ai+ Smartphone has announced the Nova 2 Power 5G, the latest addition to its Nova 2 series, through its Project Open Review 2.0 programme. The company has revealed the smartphone's design, colour options, and chipset ahead of its consumer launch, while inviting reviewers, creators, journalists, technology enthusiasts, and ethical hackers to independently test the device.
Ai+ Nova 2 Power Specifications And Features
Under the hood, the Nova 2 Power 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. The processor is built on a 6nm process and is positioned by Ai+ around sustained performance and power efficiency.
The smartphone will run NxtQuantum OS, Ai+ Smartphone's mobile operating system. The company says the Nova 2 Power extends the Nova series into a more performance- and design-focused category.
The more unusual part of the announcement is Ai+'s Project Open Review 2.0 initiative. Participants will receive early access to the Nova 2 Power and can independently evaluate its specifications and overall user experience.
According to Ai+, the testing process is entirely unscripted, with no expectation that participants deliver a favourable verdict. The second edition also expands participation to ethical hackers for the first time. The first Project Open Review reportedly received more than 700 registrations.
Ai+ Nova 2 Power 5G India Launch Details
Ai+ has not yet revealed the complete specifications, price, or availability of the Nova 2 Power 5G. The company says these details will be announced closer to the consumer launch. The Nova 2 Power 5G will be available in two Dual Colour Fusion finishes: Golden Blue Fusion and Blue Fusion. The former combines muted gold with deep navy blue in a flowing gradient, while the latter transitions from ocean blue to sunset orange. Ai+ says the design is aimed at giving the smartphone a more distinctive identity rather than treating colour as simply a cosmetic addition.
The Nova 2 Power is still largely under wraps, but Ai+ is taking an interesting approach by putting the phone in reviewers' and ethical hackers' hands before its consumer launch. That makes Project Open Review 2.0 the more notable part of this announcement.
The Dimensity 7100 gives the phone a clear performance foundation, while the Dual Colour Fusion finishes are designed to make it visually distinctive. However, with the display, cameras, battery, charging, pricing, and launch date yet to be revealed, there's still a lot missing before we can judge the Nova 2 Power as a complete package.
