As part of the programme, the brand is inviting ethical hackers, security researchers, developers, and the broader technology community to identify vulnerabilities and help improve the security of its products.
Project Trust+ Aims To Build a Community-Driven Security Ecosystem
Unlike traditional security initiatives that primarily focus on bug bounty programmes, Project Trust+ is designed as a collaborative platform where independent researchers can actively test Ai+'s systems, evaluate its security architecture, and responsibly report vulnerabilities before they affect users. The company says the initiative is built on the belief that smartphone security is an ongoing process that requires continuous improvement and transparency.
Under the initiative, Ai+ Smartphone has committed Rs 20 crore annually for the next five years, taking the total investment to Rs 100 crore. The funding will support community participation, security research, and programmes aimed at improving the overall resilience of the company's smartphone ecosystem.
Commenting on the announcement, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Ai+ Smartphone and Founder of NxtQuantum Shift Technologies, said the company wants to move beyond simply claiming its devices are secure.
He added that security is never a finished destination and evolves continuously. According to Sheth, Project Trust+ reflects the company's belief that trust should be built transparently by working with India's technology community rather than in isolation.
Built Around NxtQuantum OS
The initiative is also closely aligned with the company's broader vision around privacy, transparency, and user ownership, which form the foundation of NxtQuantum OS, described by the company as India's sovereign mobile operating system. Ai+ says Project Trust+ is intended to shift the conversation around smartphone security from marketing claims to continuous public accountability.
Ai+ Smartphone is encouraging independent security researchers, ethical hackers, and developers to participate in Project Trust+ by testing its ecosystem and reporting vulnerabilities through the programme. The company has directed interested participants to register through the link shared on Madhav Sheth's official Instagram profile.
