Boltt, the homegrown smartphone brand from the house of Fire-Boltt, has revealed the display specifications of its upcoming Ace 5G and Evo 4G smartphones ahead of their India launch.
Boltt Ace 5G And 4G Display Specifications
The Boltt Ace 5G and Evo 4G will feature a 6.79-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The panel has a 263ppi pixel density and supports up to 600 nits peak brightness, which should help with visibility across different lighting conditions. Both smartphones also feature a punch-hole design for the front camera.
The display is designed to offer smoother interactions with a high refresh rate. Both devices also come with 10-point capacitive touch technology, which is designed to provide responsive and accurate touch input. Boltt says the large display is aimed at everyday activities such as navigation, social media, and video viewing, including use outdoors.
Boltt Ace 5G, Evo 4G India Launch Date
The Boltt Ace 5G and Boltt Evo 4G will launch in India on August 25, 2026. The company has not yet revealed the pricing, chipset, camera specifications, battery capacity, or other hardware details of the two smartphones. More information is expected to be announced closer to the launch.
For now, Boltt is keeping the Ace 5G and Evo 4G fairly under wraps, revealing only their display capabilities. A 6.79-inch panel should appeal to buyers who prefer larger screens, while the claimed high refresh rate and 600-nit brightness could make the phones more suitable for everyday multimedia use.
The 120Hz versus 90Hz discrepancy in the company's own announcement is worth noting, though. Until Boltt confirms the final specification, we would avoid calling either phone a 120Hz smartphone outright. Pricing and the underlying hardware will ultimately determine whether the Ace 5G and Evo 4G can make an impact in India's highly competitive budget segment.
