Homegrown smartphone brand Boltt, from the house of Fire-Boltt, has made its entry into the smartphone market with the launch of the Ace 5G and Evo. The new smartphones focus on AI-powered features, clean Android software, large 120Hz displays and long-lasting battery life.
Boltt Ace 5G Specifications And Features
The Boltt Ace 5G is powered by the UNISOC T8200 octa-core processor, which the company says achieves a score of more than 5,47,000 on AnTuTu. It comes with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, depending on the configuration.
For photography, the Ace 5G features a 64MP AI primary camera and an 8MP front camera with Real Tone. Its camera software includes AI Portrait Mode and AI Night Mode for photography in different lighting conditions. The smartphone supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C, with an 18W charger included in the box. It also gets NFC for payments and pairing, along with expandable storage.
Boltt Evo Specifications And Features
The more affordable Boltt Evo is powered by the UNISOC T7250 octa-core processor, with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The phone is aimed at everyday multitasking, entertainment and connectivity.
For cameras, the Evo gets a 50MP AI primary camera, a 2MP macro lens and an 8MP front camera with Real Tone. The camera system supports AI Portrait Mode, AI Night Mode and AI Selfie Enhancement. The Evo is available in 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB configurations.
Boltt Ace 5G, Evo Price in India and Availability
Both the Ace 5G and Evo will go on sale exclusively through Flipkart from September 1, 2026, at 12 PM.
The Ace 5G starts at Rs 13,999, while the Evo starts at Rs 10,999. With the Day 1 offers, their effective starting prices are Rs 12,999 and Rs 9,999, respectively.
Boltt is entering an extremely competitive budget smartphone market, but the Ace 5G and Evo have a clear focus on everyday essentials. Both phones combine a large 120Hz display, 6000mAh battery, Android 16 and Google's AI features, while the Ace 5G adds 5G connectivity and a more capable 64MP camera setup.
The Evo's Rs 9,999 Day 1 price makes it the more aggressive of the two, while the Ace 5G offers higher-end hardware for buyers willing to spend more. How well the new brand performs against established players, however, will ultimately come down to real-world performance, camera quality and software experience.
