Infinix has announced the sale of the SMART 20 in India starting today via Flipkart and select retail stores. The smartphone is available with launch offers and arrives with a 120Hz display, a 7.7mm slim design, IP64 durability, and Infinix's new Ultra Link feature that enables offline calling and messaging over distances of up to one kilometre. The device runs Android 16-based XOS 16 and is available in Shadow Black, Polaris Titanium, Sunlike Orange, and Cloudline Blue colour options.
Infinix SMART 20 Specifications and Features
The Infinix SMART 20 features a 6.78-inch punch-hole display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 700 nits peak brightness. The device measures just 7.7mm thick, making it one of the slimmer smartphones in its price segment.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate processor paired with up to 8GB extended RAM (4GB physical + 4GB virtual RAM) and up to 128GB storage. Infinix claims the device has received a 48-month fluency certification aimed at maintaining smooth day-to-day performance over time. One of the standout additions is Ultra Link, which allows users to make calls and send messages without network coverage over distances of up to one kilometre. The feature is accompanied by Voiceprint Noise Reduction technology with three intelligent noise-cancellation modes for improved call quality.
The SMART 20 also focuses heavily on durability. It comes with an IP64 dust and water resistance rating, support for over 25,000 drop tests, and protection against drops of up to 1.5 metres. Keeping the device running is a 5,200mAh battery with 15W charging and 5W wired reverse charging support. On the software side, the smartphone runs XOS 16 based on Android 16 and includes One-Tap Infinix AI powered by Folax. Features include voice assistance, document scanning, scheduling tools, and song recognition.

Infinix SMART 20 Takes a Different Approach in the Budget Segment
At Rs. 11,999, the SMART 20 enters a highly competitive category dominated by devices such as the Lava Bold N2, Redmi 14 series, and Motorola's budget G-series offerings. Instead of focusing on raw performance, Infinix is positioning the SMART 20 around everyday usability.
The combination of a 120Hz display, slim 7.7mm profile, IP64 durability, and the unique Ultra Link connectivity feature gives the device a distinct identity in a segment where most smartphones compete primarily on processor specifications. While the Helio G81 Ultimate is designed for everyday tasks rather than intensive gaming, the overall package appears targeted at users looking for a stylish, durable smartphone with a smooth display experience and practical connectivity features. For buyers prioritising design, display quality, and everyday reliability over benchmark performance, the SMART 20 presents an interesting option in the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment.
