The iQOO Z11 could soon make its way to India. According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, iQOO is planning to launch the smartphone in the country around mid-June with a price tag under Rs 30,000. The smartphone was recently introduced globally in Malaysia after first debuting in China earlier this year.
If the leak is accurate, the iQOO Z11 will enter the competitive upper mid-range segment, where brands are increasingly focusing on larger batteries, brighter displays, and faster charging speeds.
iQOO Z11 India Launch Timeline In India
As per the leak, the iQOO Z11 could launch in India around June 15. The tipster also claims the Indian variant will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset paired with the Adreno 810 GPU.
This is notably different from the Chinese version of the iQOO Z11, which launched with the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 processor. However, the switch is not entirely surprising, as the global version launched in Malaysia also uses the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset.
The processor has already appeared in several recently launched smartphones, including the Vivo T5 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 6, and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. That gives buyers a clearer idea of the level of performance they can expect, particularly for gaming, multitasking, and day-to-day usage.
iQOO Z11 Expected Specifications
The biggest feature of the iQOO Z11 is its large 9,020mAh battery paired with 90W wired fast charging. Battery capacities this large are still relatively uncommon in the sub-Rs 30,000 category, especially when combined with high-speed charging support.
The phone is expected to compete directly with devices such as the Vivo T5 Pro, which also focuses heavily on battery life and charging speeds.
The iQOO Z11 features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260×2800 pixels. The panel supports a 165Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits.
A 165Hz refresh rate remains rare in this price segment and could help the device stand out for users prioritising smoother scrolling and gaming performance.
For photography, the smartphone includes a dual rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor capable of 4K video recording. The secondary camera is a 2MP depth sensor, which means the phone does not include an ultra-wide camera. On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera.
The iQOO Z11 is also expected to include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, which is still uncommon in this segment. The phone measures 8.3mm thick and weighs 213 grams.
On the software side, the device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 in global markets. However, the Indian version could launch with Funtouch OS instead, as that remains Vivo and iQOO's standard software experience in India.
iQOO Z11 Expected Pricing and Competition
Globally, the iQOO Z11 starts at MYR 1,599, which roughly converts to around Rs 38,800. If iQOO manages to launch the phone in India under Rs 30,000, the pricing would be significantly more aggressive.
At that price, the phone would compete against devices such as the Vivo T5 Pro, OnePlus Nord CE 6, and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. While camera performance and software experience will likely remain key differentiators, the iQOO Z11's combination of a 9,020mAh battery, 90W charging, and 165Hz AMOLED display could make it stand out in the segment.
