iQOO has started teasing the launch of the iQOO Z11 Lite in India, confirming the arrival of the successor to last year’s iQOO Z10 Lite. While the company has yet to announce a launch date, the smartphone is expected to debut later this month and will be sold through Amazon India and the iQOO India online store.
The teaser reveals the phone’s rear design, featuring a vertically stacked dual-camera setup, an LED flash, and a notification LED positioned below the camera module. The company has also confirmed that the handset will include AI-powered features, although it has not shared any details about the software capabilities yet.
Expected specifications
Based on recent leaks and reports, the iQOO Z11 Lite is expected to retain several core specifications from its predecessor while focusing on battery life and charging upgrades.
The smartphone is tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, the same processor used in the iQOO Z10 Lite. It is expected to feature a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD with a waterdrop notch, a 50MP primary rear camera, and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
The biggest upgrade is expected to come in the battery department. The Z11 Lite is rumoured to house a 6,500mAh battery, replacing the 6,000mAh unit found on its predecessor. Charging speeds are also expected to receive a significant boost, increasing from 15W to 44W fast charging.
The handset is also tipped to receive an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, an improvement over the IP64 certification offered on the previous model.
According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the phone will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and include AI-powered tools for content creation, image editing, and caption generation. However, iQOO has not officially confirmed these software features.
Rather than introducing a new chipset, iQOO appears to be prioritising features that could have a greater impact on everyday usage. A larger battery, substantially faster charging, and AI-powered software enhancements may prove more valuable for budget-conscious buyers than modest gains in processing performance.
Expected launch and pricing
The iQOO Z11 Lite is expected to launch in mid-July 2026. Although pricing remains under wraps, the smartphone is likely to be positioned below the iQOO Z11x, which starts at Rs. 22,999 in India.
Last year’s iQOO Z10 Lite debuted at Rs. 9,999, but industry-wide component cost increases make it unlikely that its successor will retain the same starting price. Even so, the Z11 Lite is expected to arrive under Rs. 20,000, placing it in the competitive affordable smartphone segment.
