Lava has officially started the first sale of its new Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 smartphones in India. The devices are now available through Flipkart and the Lava website, bringing the company's Made-in-India smartphones to online buyers with a focus on clean Android, large batteries and durable designs. Alongside the launch, Lava is also offering introductory discounts, making the phones even more attractive in the budget segment.
Lava Virat V1 5G Specifications
The Virat V1 5G sports a 6.75-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the UNISOC T8200 chipset. It packs 4GB RAM, along with support for up to 4GB virtual RAM, and 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.
Lava has equipped the phone with a 6,000mAh battery, while cameras include a 13MP AI dual rear setup and a 5MP selfie camera. It runs Clean Android 16, free from ads and pre-installed bloatware, and comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.

The Lava Virat V1 5G is available in a single 4GB + 64GB configuration priced at Rs. 12,999. As part of the launch offer, buyers can purchase it at an effective price of Rs. 11,999.
The smartphone is offered in Arya Blue and Sonar Gold colour options and is available starting today via Flipkart and the Lava website.
The 4G version, the Lava Virat V1, is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. Under the introductory launch offer, customers can buy it for Rs. 8,999.
It is available in Nilgiri Blue and Himalayan Silver finishes.
With the Virat lineup, Lava continues to focus on delivering practical smartphones instead of chasing flashy specifications. Both devices offer large batteries, IP64 durability and a stock Android experience, which remain relatively uncommon in the entry-level segment.
