Virat V1 Pro 5G Specifications And Features
The Virat V1 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T8200 processor, built on a 6nm architecture. Lava claims the chipset scores over 500K on AnTuTu. The phone comes with 6GB RAM, which can be expanded by up to another 6GB through Virtual RAM.
Storage stands at 128GB, with support for expansion up to 1TB via microSD. The smartphone packs a 6000mAh battery, which Lava claims can deliver up to 40 hours of talk time, 650 hours of standby time, and 760 minutes of YouTube playback. It supports 18W Type-C fast charging for topping up the battery.
For photography, the Virat V1 Pro 5G gets a 50MP AI rear camera with features including Night Mode, HDR, Portrait, Film, Pro Mode, and Motion Photo. It also supports Dual-View Video and 2K video recording at 30fps. An 8MP front camera is available for selfies and video calls, with the company noting that the front-camera resolution is achieved through software interpolation.
On the front, the smartphone features a 6.745-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 550 nits of High Brightness Mode. The phone comes in Sikkim Midnight and Spiti Frost colour options with a glossy rear finish.
The Virat V1 Pro 5G runs Android 16 with a bloatware-free user interface. Lava promises one Android OS upgrade and two years of security updates.
The smartphone also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include dual 5G SIM support, Bluetooth 5.4, a hybrid SIM slot, side-mounted fingerprint unlock, and Face Unlock.
Lava is also offering its Free Service @ Home programme with the smartphone, providing doorstep after-sales support across India.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Price in India, Availability
The Virat V1 Pro 5G 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 15,999, but comes with a special launch price of Rs 13,999 after a flat Rs 2,000 discount on credit card and credit card EMI options from all banks.
The smartphone will go on sale on Flipkart from August 31 at 12 PM. It will also be available through Lava's retail network from September 2026 under the name Shark 2 Pro 5G.
At Rs 13,999, Lava is going after buyers who want a feature-heavy 5G smartphone without crossing the Rs 15,000 mark. The 6000mAh battery and 120Hz display are the biggest highlights, while 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and microSD expansion give the phone a practical everyday setup.
The Unisoc T8200, 50MP camera, Android 16, and IP64 rating round out the package. The biggest compromise on paper is the HD+ display resolution, despite its large size and 120Hz refresh rate. Still, for users prioritising battery life, storage, and a clean Android experience, the Virat V1 Pro 5G looks like an interesting option in the sub-Rs 15,000 segment.
