Oppo has announced its new F35 Series, marking the 10th anniversary of the F Series in the country. The new lineup will build on Oppo's selfie-focused smartphone heritage with a new "Group Selfie Expert" proposition, shifting the focus from individual selfies to capturing multiple people in a single frame.
Oppo F35 Series Specifications
The F35 Series will feature a 50MP Ultra-Wide Natural Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view. Oppo says the camera is designed to bring more people into a single frame while retaining natural-looking details. The front camera will also feature NaturalTone 2.0, which is designed to deliver more true-to-life skin tones. The F35 Series will additionally support 4K video recording from both the front and rear cameras, giving creators more flexibility for shooting and recording content.
Oppo introduced the F Series in India with the Oppo F1 a decade ago, positioning it around the company's "Selfie Expert" proposition. The F1 featured a 16MP selfie camera and was followed by several generations that introduced selfie-focused features, including the F3's dual front camera and the F5's built-in beautification technology.
Over the past decade, the F Series has expanded beyond selfie photography into areas including design, performance, charging, video and durability. Oppo says the F Series has now grown to a community of more than 30 million users in India. The company highlights milestones such as the F23's 67W SUPERVOOC charging and 5,000mAh battery, the F25's 4K Ultra-Clear Video capabilities, the F27's IP69 rating and the F33's 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera.

The Oppo F35 Series will launch in India on October 5, 2026. Oppo has not yet revealed the pricing, complete specifications or availability details of the upcoming smartphones. The launch creative supplied by Oppo also identifies the lineup as Oppo F35 Series 5G, with the "Group Selfie Expert" positioning and October 5 launch date prominently highlighted. The F35 Series is essentially Oppo's attempt to evolve its decade-old selfie positioning for the way people use smartphone cameras today. The move to a 50MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100-degree field of view makes group photography the central pitch, while 4K front and rear video keeps the lineup relevant for today's short-form content creators.
