Oppo has launched the Oppo K14 Plus in India as the latest addition to its K Series. The smartphone focuses on performance, durability and battery life, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset, a 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, an 8,000mAh battery and a 50MP OIS camera with 4K video recording.
Oppo K14 Plus Specifications And Features
The Oppo K14 Plus is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX, built on a 4nm process. The chipset features four Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.5GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores running at up to 2.0GHz, paired with an Arm Mali-G615 GPU. According to Oppo and MediaTek lab data, the chipset delivers a 30% increase in CPU multi-core performance and a 35% improvement in GPU performance compared with the previous generation Dimensity chip. Oppo also claims the K14 Plus crosses the 1 million mark on AnTuTu, with the result recorded on the 8GB + 256GB variant using AnTuTu Benchmark V12. The phone pairs the processor with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The 8GB variants also support up to 16GB of RAM expansion. For sustained performance, Oppo has equipped the K14 Plus with a 5,000mm² SuperCool VC vapour chamber and a 19,989mm² graphite spread. The phone also gets AI GameBoost 3.0 for supported gaming scenarios.
Battery life is one of the major highlights of the K14 Plus. The phone comes with an 8,000mAh battery, which Oppo says is designed to retain at least 80% of its capacity after 1,800 full charge cycles. This is equivalent to approximately six years of use when charged once per day under the company's specified testing conditions. The battery supports 45W SUPERVOOC charging, along with Bypass Charging for supported scenarios and 10W reverse wired charging. Oppo's laboratory testing claims up to 30.33 hours of WhatsApp voice calls, 20.97 hours of YouTube playback, 15.03 hours of Instagram Reels and 14.39 hours of Maps navigation.
The 8GB + 256GB variant additionally gets six-year smoothness protection, while the 128GB variants are rated for up to five years of smooth performance under Oppo's specified testing framework.
The smartphone features a 17.22cm 1.5K AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The panel has a 2772 × 1272 resolution, 450 PPI and support for 1.07 billion colours with 100% DCI-P3 coverage. The display reaches up to 3,600 nits peak brightness and offers 1,800 nits full-screen brightness. It also supports 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming at low brightness and touch sampling of up to 240Hz. The refresh rate can automatically switch between 60Hz, 90Hz, 120Hz and 144Hz depending on the content.
Oppo has also focused on the bezels, with the K14 Plus featuring bezels measuring as little as 1.65mm on the sides and a claimed 93.6% screen-to-body ratio. The phone weighs approximately 207 grams and measures 8.4mm in thickness.
For photography, the K14 Plus gets a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation, a 1/2-inch sensor, f/1.8 aperture and autofocus. The rear camera supports 4K video recording, 4K Ultra-Steady video in supported scenarios and slow-motion recording at up to 240fps at 720p. The camera system also includes Turbo RAW multi-frame processing, AI Night Mode, Dual-View recording, Motion Photos and in-sensor zoom. Oppo has added several AI-powered editing features, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Popout 2.0, AI Remix Collage, AI Recompose and AI Eraser.
For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 16MP Sony IMX480 front camera. The display can also act as a soft key light for low-light selfies. The K14 Plus comes with a Damage-Proof 360° Armour Body, combining an aerospace-grade aluminium alloy frame, structural collision beams, airbag-style cushioning and reinforced construction.
The phone carries IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 protection against different levels of water and dust exposure. Oppo says the aluminium structure has passed 1,000 bend cycles, while reinforced corners and thickened protective glass are designed to improve resistance against everyday impacts.
The Oppo K14 Plus runs ColorOS 16, with the company's Trinity Engine handling system resource management through Parallel Loading and Adaptive Scheduling Architecture. Oppo says the Adaptive Scheduling Architecture can contribute to up to a 15% improvement in overall smoothness based on its laboratory testing. The software also brings AI-powered features, including AI Ultra-Clear Documents and AI editing tools. Oppo's O+ Connect allows file transfers between Oppo smartphones and iPhones, while AI LinkBoost 4.0 is designed to improve network connectivity across gaming, streaming and video calls.
Oppo K14 Plus Price and Availability in India
The Oppo K14 Plus starts at Rs 29,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 128GB version costs Rs 32,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at Rs 35,999. It will be available in Solar Orange and White Star colour options.
The smartphone will go on sale from October 8 at midnight, exclusively through Flipkart and the Oppo India e-store. Buyers can get an Rs 4,000 instant bank discount with leading banks on the sale day, along with a six-month No Cost EMI option. This brings the effective prices down to Rs 25,999, Rs 28,999 and Rs 31,999, respectively. The Oppo K14 Plus is clearly built around endurance.
