OPPO has expanded its Reno lineup in India with the all new Reno 15c smartphone. It packs a 50MP rear camera, a 50MP ultra-wide front camera, a 7,000mAh battery, IP69-rated protection, and a lot more. So let's take a closer look at OPPO's latest Reno offering.
OPPO Reno15c: Price in India and Availability
The OPPO Reno15c is priced at Rs 34,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model. The phone is available in Afterglow Pink and Twilight Blue colour options.
It can be purchased via Amazon, Flipkart, OPPO's online store, and mainline retail outlets. Launch offers include up to 10 percent instant cashback on select bank cards and UPI transactions, up to six months no-cost EMI, zero down payment schemes for up to 12 months, an exchange bonus of Rs 3,000, and a 180-day screen damage replacement plan at an additional cost.
OPPO Reno15c: Specifications and Features
The Reno 15c flaunts a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh and 1,400 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, and runs on ColorOS 16. The device will get five years of OS updates and six years of security updates. It also integrates Google Gemini for voice-based commands across apps such as Calendar, Clock and Settings.
The phone includes AI-based tools like AI Mind Space for organising on-screen information, AI Recording for voice note summaries, and AI Writer for drafting text. OPPO also uses a private computing cloud system powered by Google Cloud for data protection.
In terms of cameras, the device features a 50MP Ultra-Clear main camera and a 50MP ultra-wide selfie camera with a 100-degree field of view. It supports 4K HDR video recording at up to 30fps on both front and rear cameras. Users can switch between the front and rear cameras while recording video. The phone also supports Dual-View Video, which records from both cameras at the same time.
Camera software features include AI Portrait Glow with multiple lighting styles, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Livephoto 2.0, AI Best Face, AI Unblur, AI Studio, AI Reflection Remover, and AI Eraser. There is also a Popout mode that allows combining two to nine images into a single composition.
The Reno15c measures 8.14mm in thickness and weighs 195g. It comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. OPPO says the phone uses a cushioning structure to improve durability.
The handset packs a 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO claims a full charge from 0 to 100 percent takes around 64 minutes. A 10-minute charge is said to provide several hours of usage across apps such as WhatsApp, YouTube and Instagram.
