POVA 8 Goes on Sale in India Starting at Rs. 29,999 With ALIVE Matrix Display, 8,000mAh Battery, and Triple-Chipset Connectivity

POVA has launched the POVA 8 in India, bringing a design-focused smartphone with an interactive rear lighting system, massive 8,000mAh battery, and enhanced connectivity features. The smartphone is available in two variants: 6GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 29,999 and 8GB + 128GB priced at Rs. 31,999.

POVA 8 Specs and Features

The POVA 8 is headlined by the new ALIVE Matrix Display, an interactive rear-panel lighting system that responds to notifications, music playback, charging status, and other user interactions. The feature is designed to make the rear panel an active part of the smartphone experience while complementing the device's cyberpunk-inspired design language.

Powering the smartphone is Dimensity 7100 and a large 8,000mAh battery paired with a liquid cooling system for improved thermal management during gaming and intensive workloads. The device is positioned as an endurance-focused smartphone capable of handling extended gaming, streaming, and multitasking sessions without frequent charging interruptions.

POVA has also equipped the device with a triple-chipset connectivity architecture that combines the primary processor with dedicated G1 and SE1 signal chipsets. According to the company, this setup improves network stability in crowded environments and weak-signal areas while supporting 20 5G bands for broader network compatibility. For photography, the smartphone features a Sony 50MP primary camera. The company claims the camera is optimised for everyday photography, portraits, and detailed image capture across different lighting conditions. Additional features include Google AI Plus benefits for three months, enhanced connectivity tools, and a design inspired by futuristic machine aesthetics and cyberpunk culture.

POVA Continues Its Design-First Approach

With the POVA 8, the brand is clearly focusing on differentiation through design and user experience rather than competing purely on specifications. The ALIVE Matrix Display gives the device a distinct visual identity, while the combination of an 8,000mAh battery, liquid cooling, and dedicated connectivity hardware positions it as a smartphone aimed at users who prioritise endurance, gaming, and standout design in the mid-premium segment.
