Realme has launched the C100x 4G in India, expanding its C-series lineup with a smartphone focused on battery life, durability, and everyday performance. Priced from Rs 14,499 after launch offers, the new device packs an 8,000mAh Titan Battery with 45W fast charging, a 120Hz display, ArmorShell Protection, and a 50MP AI rear camera. The smartphone will be available from July 16 through Flipkart, Realme.com, and mainline retail stores.
Realme C100x 4G Specifications And Features
The biggest highlight of the Realme C100x 4G is its 8,000mAh Titan Battery, which is designed to deliver extended battery life for users who stream content, browse social media, or game throughout the day. Realme says the battery is built for long-term reliability with a claimed seven-year battery health, AI Battery Protection, and support for up to 1,600 charging cycles. The phone also supports 45W fast charging and 6W reverse wired charging, allowing it to power compatible accessories and other devices when required.
Despite housing one of the largest batteries in its segment, the Realme C100x 4G measures 8.78mm thick and weighs 219g. The handset adopts the company’s Fluid Design language with rounded corners and Breathing Light accents around the camera module. It is offered in Golden Coast and Deepblue Tide colour options, both inspired by natural elements and featuring textured rear panels for a premium look.
Durability is another major focus of the device. The smartphone features ArmorShell Protection with MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance certification, reinforced internal cushioning, strengthened display protection, and a redesigned frame for improved impact resistance. Realme also claims the phone can withstand front drops from up to two metres onto marble surfaces. In addition, it carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, while Rain Touch Mode improves touch responsiveness with wet hands and the built-in Speaker Cleaner feature helps remove water and dust using sound vibrations.
On the front, the Realme C100x 4G sports a 120Hz Ultra Smooth LCD display with up to 900 nits peak brightness and DC Dimming for a more comfortable viewing experience. The higher refresh rate is aimed at delivering smoother scrolling, better touch responsiveness, and an improved gaming experience compared to conventional 60Hz displays.
For photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50MP AI rear camera alongside a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. While Realme positions the device primarily around battery life and durability, the company says the camera setup is capable of capturing
The Realme C100x 4G is powered by an octa-core 12nm chipset with a claimed AnTuTu score of 373,800, targeting users looking for dependable performance across everyday tasks such as messaging, web browsing, video streaming, and casual gaming. AI-powered software optimisations further contribute to the device’s “Chale Smoothly, Nonstop” positioning.
Realme C100x 4G Price And Availability
The Realme C100x 4G comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant priced at Rs 14,999. As part of the introductory offer, buyers can avail a Rs 500 price discount, bringing the effective price down to Rs 14,499. The offer will be valid from July 16 to July 20 across Flipkart, Realme.com, and authorised mainline stores.
With the C100x 4G, Realme is targeting users who value long battery life and durability over flagship specifications. The combination of an 8,000mAh battery, military-grade protection, IP64 certification, 120Hz display, and competitive pricing makes it a practical option for students, first-time smartphone buyers, and users looking for a dependable daily driver in the budget segment.
However, its biggest drawback is the lack of 5G connectivity. At a time when most competing smartphones in the same price range offer 5G support, the C100x’s 4G-only connectivity may make it a less future-proof choice for buyers planning to use their phone for several years.
