realme P4R Specifications and Features
The Realme P4R 5G is equipped with an 8,000mAh Titan Battery paired with 45W fast charging support. According to the company, the battery is capable of delivering up to three days of usage on a full charge while maintaining more than 80% battery health even after seven years of use and up to 1,600 charging cycles. The device also includes AI Long-Life Algorithm, AI Night Charging Mode, AI Cold Charging Mode, One Tap Cooling, bypass charging support, and wired reverse charging functionality.
Realme has equipped the P4R 5G with what it claims is the segment's only 5,300mm² AirFlow Vapour Chamber cooling system. The setup works alongside bypass charging and One Tap Cooling to help manage temperatures during gaming sessions.
The company claims the device can support stable 60fps gameplay in BGMI and Free Fire during extended gaming sessions. The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 144Hz Sunlight Display with up to 1,200 nits peak brightness. It also comes with a Super Linear Speaker supporting 400% Ultra Volume for media consumption and gaming. Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with realme UI 7.0. Realme says the phone has passed a 48-month fluency test and includes Extended Use Care features aimed at maintaining long-term system performance.
For photography, the P4R 5G offers a 50MP AI rear camera with an F1.8 aperture. AI features include AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser 2.0, AI Ultra Clarity, AI Unblur, Motion Photo, Text Scanner, AI Assistant for Notes, Google Gemini integration, AI Anti-Theft, and Google Remotely Lock.
The Realme P4R 5G features ArmorShell Tough Build and has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade shock resistance testing. The smartphone also carries an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for everyday outdoor usage.
Despite housing an 8,000mAh battery, the device measures 8.8mm in thickness and weighs 224g.
Realme P4R 5G: Should you buy it?
The Realme P4R 5G stands out by focusing on three areas that matter to everyday users: battery life, durability, and sustained performance. The 8,000mAh battery is easily the headline feature here, offering significantly higher capacity than most smartphones in this price range, while the 45W charging support helps balance out the larger battery size. Realme has also paired it with a 5,300mm² vapour chamber cooling system, bypass charging, and gaming-focused thermal management features that should help maintain stable performance during extended gaming sessions.
Beyond endurance, the device also brings a 144Hz display, MIL-STD-810H-certified ArmorShell build, and IP65 protection, making it one of the more rugged options in its segment. While the Dimensity 6300 isn't the most powerful chipset available at this price, Realme appears to be prioritising long battery life and everyday reliability over chasing benchmark numbers.
On paper, the P4R 5G looks like a practical option for students, casual gamers, and users who value all-day battery life above everything else. The combination of an 8,000mAh battery, advanced cooling system, and durable build gives it a clear identity in a market where many devices often end up feeling too similar.
