Samsung has officially started selling the Galaxy A27 5G in India, introducing a new mid-range smartphone that focuses on long-term software support, a smooth AMOLED display, and reliable everyday performance. The handset is available through Samsung’s official online store as well as leading e-commerce platforms, with launch offers bringing the effective price down by up to Rs. 3,000.
The Galaxy A27 5G is positioned in the competitive sub-Rs. 30,000 segment and comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP OIS-enabled primary camera, and a promise of six years of Android OS and security updates.

The smartphone is available in three memory configurations:
- 6GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 28,999
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs. 31,999
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs. 37,499
As part of the launch offers, buyers can avail of up to Rs. 3,000 in instant cashback or discounts, depending on the payment method and eligible bank offers. This brings the effective price of the base variant down to Rs. 25,999.
The Galaxy A27 5G is offered in three colour options: Light Green, Light Pink, and Black.

The Galaxy A27 5G sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling, animations, and gaming. Samsung continues to use AMOLED panels as one of the handset’s key selling points in the mid-range segment.
Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Users requiring additional space can expand the storage by up to 2TB via a microSD card.
The smartphone ships with One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 out of the box. Samsung has committed to six generations of Android OS upgrades along with six years of security updates, making it one of the strongest software support promises in its price segment.
For photography, the Galaxy A27 5G features a triple rear camera setup comprising:
