The Vivo S2 has now gone on sale in India, with the smartphone available via the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and select offline retail stores across the country. The device marks the return of Vivo's S-series lineup after nearly seven years and is positioned in the premium mid-range segment. It's being marketed with a focus on design, display and battery life.
Price and offers
The Vivo S2 is priced at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 44,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model. As part of the launch offers, you can avail up to 10% instant cashback on select bank cards or go for an exchange bonus, depending on the purchase option.
Additionally, Vivo is offering no-cost EMI options for up to 15 months, along with a one-year extended warranty. You may also get bundled benefits such as cloud storage offers, depending on the platform and payment method.
Specifications
The Vivo S2 features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of claimed peak brightness. Vivo has promised a bright and smooth viewing experience. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
For photography, it includes a 50-megapixel primary camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while the front has a 32-megapixel selfie camera with support for 4K video recording. The smartphone is powered by a 7,050mAh battery with 44W fast charging, which should comfortably last through a full day of usage.
It runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
