Vivo has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo T5 Lite 5G. The latest addition to the company’s T-series arrives with a large 6,500mAh battery, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, a 120Hz display, and a 50-megapixel primary camera. The handset also ships with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.
The smartphone will be available in three RAM and storage configurations and goes on sale later this month through Flipkart and Vivo’s online store.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G price in India, availability
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G starts at Rs. 19,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 6GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs. 21,999, while the top-end 6GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 24,999.
As part of the launch offers, Vivo is providing an instant discount of Rs. 1,500 on purchases made using HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and SBI Bank cards. Buyers can also avail of up to three months of no-cost EMI.
The smartphone will go on sale in India from July 22 via Flipkart and the Vivo India online store. It is offered in Twilight Shadow and Wave Blue colour options.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G specifications
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G features a 6.74-inch HD+ (720 × 1,600 pixels) LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits peak brightness, 260ppi pixel density, and 83 percent NTSC colour gamut. The display is protected by an IP65-rated body that offers resistance against dust and water splashes.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process. The octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A76 performance cores clocked at up to 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores running at 2.0GHz. It is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, with support for microSD card expansion up to 2TB.
For photography, the handset sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 0.08-megapixel auxiliary sensor, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with support for 44W wired fast charging. On the connectivity front, it offers 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The phone also includes an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, electronic compass, and gyroscope. It measures 167.4 × 77.1 × 8.39mm and weighs 209g
