Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo T5 Lite 5G will launch in India on July 16, expanding its T-series smartphone lineup in the budget segment. The smartphone will be sold via Flipkart as well as Vivo's official online store. Ahead of the launch, the company has started revealing key details about the phone. This confirms upgrades in areas such as battery, charging and display compared to last year's T4 Lite.
Vivo T5 Lite 5G Specifications
One of the biggest upgrades on the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is its battery. The smartphone is confirmed to pack a 6,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging, replacing the 6,000mAh battery and 15W charging offered on its predecessor.
Vivo has also confirmed that the phone will feature a 120Hz display with 1,200 nits of peak brightness.
The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and will offer IP65-rated dust and water resistance along with military-grade durability.
On the software front, the T5 Lite 5G will run OriginOS 6 based on Android and include AI-powered features such as AI Captions, AI Transcript Assist, AI Documents, AI Creation and Private Space.

Official teasers show the phone in blue and black colour options with a dual-camera setup on the rear. So we're not sure how many colour variants there are going to be, but it's safe to expect a black and blue one.
While Vivo is yet to reveal the complete specifications, the company has confirmed that more details will be announced on July 11, ahead of the phone's launch.
The Vivo T5 Lite 5G will succeed the Vivo T4 Lite 5G, which was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 9,999. However, due to rising hardware costs globally, the Vivo T5 Lite 5G is expected to launch between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000.
