Vivo X300 Ultra, X300 FE: Pricing And Availability
Vivo has officially teased the India launch of the X300 Ultra and X300 FE via its X account, indicating both devices will likely debut together. While the company has not confirmed an exact launch date, earlier reports suggest a May 7 unveiling.
The same report claims that sales for the X300 Ultra could begin from May 14. Although these dates remain unverified, the timeline appears credible given that official teasers are already live. With promotional activity ramping up, the launch is expected within the next couple of weeks, with more concrete details on availability and pricing likely to be announced soon.
Both the Vivo X300 Ultra and X300 FE are expected to retain the same design as their Chinese counterparts. The Ultra model features a circular rear camera module, while the X300 FE adopts a more compact design with a horizontal pill-shaped camera layout.
The devices will be available through Vivo's official website and Flipkart, indicating a wide retail presence. The X300 FE has also been teased in a green colour option, which could be exclusive to the Indian market.
In China, the Ultra was launched at a starting price of CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 95,900), suggesting that the Indian pricing could exceed Rs. 1 lakh.
Globally, the X300 FE has been priced at around Rs. 71,000 for the base variant, indicating a similar pricing range for India.
Vivo X300 Ultra: Focus On Camera And Performance
The Vivo X300 Ultra is shaping up to be one of the most camera-focused smartphones of 2026, with a strong emphasis on high-end imaging capabilities. The device features a 200MP primary sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3.7x optical zoom and up to 105x digital zoom. It also includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera and a 50MP front-facing sensor. Adding to its versatility, the smartphone supports an external teleconverter, enabling up to 17.4x optical zoom for extended range photography.
Beyond its camera system, the X300 Ultra is equipped with flagship-grade hardware. It packs a large 7,000mAh battery, supported by 100W wired and 40W wireless charging, ensuring long usage and quick top-ups. The device also features a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, designed to deliver smooth visuals and high brightness. Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it for demanding tasks such as gaming, content consumption, and heavy multitasking.
In terms of design, Vivo continues its signature aesthetic with a circular camera module and a flat-edged frame. The smartphone is expected to be available in Film Green, Silver Tone, and Black colour options.
Vivo X300 FE: Compact Flagship Alternative
The Vivo X300 FE is expected to offer a balanced mix of flagship performance and compact design. It features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering smooth visuals in a relatively smaller form factor. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, placing it in the same performance category as rivals like the OnePlus 15R and iQOO 15R.

In terms of cameras, the X300 FE includes a triple rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera, all tuned with Zeiss optics. This setup is designed to handle both everyday photography and more advanced use cases. The smartphone also packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, which should comfortably deliver all-day usage.
The device is expected to appeal to users who want flagship-level performance without opting for a large and bulky phone. It may also serve as a practical upgrade option, although existing X200 FE users may want to wait for detailed reviews before deciding.
Globally, the X300 FE is available in Moonlight White, Cool Purple, and Graphite Black. In India, it is expected to launch in Black, Purple, and a Green variant, with the latter already teased by Vivo. Additionally, the X300 FE is also getting the telephoto kit like the X300 Ultra.
With the X300 series, Vivo is expanding its presence in both the ultra-premium and compact flagship segments in India.
Where Does Ultra Fit
The launch of the X300 Ultra is particularly notable as it marks the debut of Vivo's "Ultra" series in India. Previously limited to select markets like China, this move signals Vivo's intent to compete more aggressively in the ultra-premium segment.
At the same time, the X300 FE continues the brand's strategy of offering compact yet powerful smartphones, catering to users who prefer smaller devices without compromising on performance.
With teasers already live, Vivo is expected to confirm the official launch date soon, along with detailed pricing and availability. Sales are likely to begin shortly after the announcement.
If priced competitively, the X300 Ultra and X300 FE could strengthen Vivo's position against rivals such as Samsung, Xiaomi, and OPPO in India's high-end smartphone market.
