vivo has launched the vivo X300 Ultra and vivo X300 FE in India. The new X-series smartphones bring ZEISS co-engineered imaging systems, advanced video recording features, large batteries, and OriginOS 6 software features.
The vivo X300 Ultra is positioned as the company's imaging-focused flagship with ZEISS Triple Prime Lenses and optional telephoto extender accessories, while the X300 FE arrives with a compact display, ZEISS imaging features, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 performance. Both smartphones will be available starting May 14 through Flipkart, Amazon, vivo India's online store, and authorised retail outlets across India.
vivo X300 Ultra Features ZEISS Triple Prime Lenses Collection
The vivo X300 Ultra introduces what vivo calls the ZEISS Triple Prime Lenses Collection with 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm focal lengths. The 14mm ZEISS Ultra Wide-Angle Camera uses a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 818 sensor and supports 4K 120fps video recording. vivo says the camera also includes 1.95° OIS and CIPA 6.0 stabilisation. The 35mm ZEISS Documentary Camera is equipped with a 200-megapixel Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with 12-bit HDR support and CIPA 6.5 stabilisation.
The 85mm ZEISS Gimbal-Like Stabilization APO Telephoto Camera uses a 200-megapixel large-format sensor with 3° gimbal-like OIS and CIPA 7.0 stabilisation. vivo says the camera is designed to reduce chromatic aberration while maintaining colour accuracy and sharpness. The smartphone also supports optional vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender accessories. The 400mm Equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra is designed for long-distance capture, while the 200mm Equivalent vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 is aimed at everyday telephoto photography.
Multi-Focal 4K 120fps Video and 60fps AF Tracking Snapshot
The vivo X300 Ultra supports multi-focal 4K 120fps 10-bit Log video recording and Dolby Vision video recording across focal lengths.
The device introduces an all-new Pro Video Mode with controls for exposure, focus, and tone adjustments. Additional features include Multi-Focal 4K 120fps Slow-Motion Video and Multi-Focal 4K Time-Lapse video. vivo has also included a Quad-Mic Audio Recording System with intelligent presets designed to reduce background noise. The smartphone additionally supports 60fps AF Tracking Snapshot mode for real-time autofocus tracking of moving subjects.
vivo X300 Ultra Specifications
The vivo X300 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform along with the Pro Imaging Chip VS1+. The device packs a 6600mAh battery with support for 100W Wired FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge. It features a 6.82-inch 2K ZEISS Master Color Display with Ultra XDR support and high brightness. The smartphone also comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance and runs on OriginOS 6. vivo says the X300 Ultra is manufactured at the company's Greater Noida facility under its "Made in India" initiative.
vivo X300 FE Launches With Compact Display and ZEISS Cameras
The vivo X300 FE features a 6.31-inch flat display with up to 5000 nits brightness and ZEISS Master Color Display support. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and includes LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. For optics, the device includes a 50-megapixel ZEISS Main Camera based on the Sony IMX921 sensor, a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera with support for up to 100x hyper zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
On the front, the X300 FE features a 50-megapixel ZEISS Wide-Angle Front Camera. The smartphone also supports ZEISS Multifocal Portrait modes across 23mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 100mm focal lengths, along with ZEISS Style Bokeh effects. vivo is also introducing support for the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 on the X300 FE, enabling a 200mm equivalent focal length.
AI Imaging and Video Features on vivo X300 FE
The X300 FE includes AI-powered imaging features such as AI Creative Camera, AI Audio Noise Eraser, AI Reflection Erase, AI Erase, AI Magic Move, AI Image Expander, and Live Cutout. For video recording, the smartphone supports 4K 60fps Pro Video recording, along with 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps video formats.
The device also supports AI-enabled 200MP Photos, which vivo says can upscale standard 50-megapixel shots to an equivalent of 200-megapixel detail across the main, telephoto, and front cameras.
Battery, Durability, and Software Features
The vivo X300 FE packs a 6500mAh battery with support for 90W Wired FlashCharge and 40W Wireless FlashCharge. The device includes a 4005mm² VC liquid cooling system and supports AI SuperLink and NFC. For durability, the smartphone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance, military-grade durability standards, and SCHOTT Xensation cover glass. The X300 FE runs on OriginOS 6 and includes features such as Origin Island, Drag & Go, vivo Office Kit, One-Tap Transfer, and Shake & Share. vivo has also confirmed five years of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the smartphone.
vivo X300 Ultra, X300 FE Price and Approach in India
The vivo X300 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,59,999 for the 16GB + 512GB variant and will be available in Eclipse Black and Victory Green colour options. The vivo X300 FE is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 89,999 for the 12GB + 512GB variant. It will be available in Urban Olive, Lilac Purple, and Noir Black colour options.
vivo has also announced optional accessories, including the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2, vivo Imaging Grip Kit, and vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Accessory Kit, which will be sold separately. With the X300 Ultra, vivo is clearly doubling down on professional-grade mobile imaging by combining ZEISS optics, multi-focal video capabilities, and accessory-based telephoto expansion into a single ecosystem. The X300 FE, meanwhile, takes a different approach by bringing ZEISS imaging features, compact dimensions, and flagship-level hardware into a more lifestyle-focused form factor. Together, the two launches show vivo expanding the X-series beyond conventional flagship smartphones and positioning it more directly around photography, videography, and creator-focused experiences in the premium segment.
