Xiaomi India has announced the sale of the Xiaomi 17T in India starting today. The Xiaomi 17T features a Leica-powered triple rear camera system headlined by a 50MP primary camera with OIS. It also becomes the first Xiaomi T Series smartphone to feature a Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera. Xiaomi says the Leica Summilux optical lens system is designed to deliver improved image quality across focal lengths, alongside optical zoom and enhanced low-light performance. The phone also supports Leica Live Moment, Leica Live Portrait, and 4K HDR10+ video recording.
Xiaomi 17T Specifications and Features
The Xiaomi 17T sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. The panel is backed by Xiaomi Vision Care and TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care Certification.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset paired with Xiaomi HyperOS. The smartphone also comes with Xiaomi HyperAI features, Google Gemini integration, Circle to Search, and an advanced cooling system.
The handset packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 67W HyperCharge fast charging. Xiaomi claims the combination is designed to deliver all-day battery life while maintaining a slim form factor.

The Xiaomi 17T is available in Violet, Blue, and Black colour options. Pricing starts at Rs. 59,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant and Rs. 64,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model. Customers can avail an instant bank discount of Rs. 5,000 on full-swipe and credit card EMI transactions, bringing the effective starting price down to Rs. 54,999.
