Lumio has launched the Arc 7 (2026) Google TV projector in India, bringing upgrades to brightness, colour reproduction, contrast, storage and screen size. The new projector is positioned as an upgraded version of the company's Arc.
Lumio Arc 7 Specifications And Features
The Lumio Arc 7 (2026) comes with the company's Next-Generation Arc Light Engine 2, an upgraded display system, 500 ANSI lumens of brightness and support for projection sizes of up to 120 inches. It also runs Google TV based on Android 14 and doubles the internal storage compared to the previous generation. The biggest upgrade on the new Lumio Arc 7 comes in the display department. The projector offers 500 ANSI lumens, representing a 25% increase over the previous model. Contrast has also been improved by 15% to 1700:1, while DCI-P3 colour coverage has increased by 10%.
According to Lumio, these improvements are designed to deliver brighter images, richer colours and deeper contrast, including when the projector is being used in rooms with some ambient light. The company has also increased the recommended projection size from 100 inches to 120 inches, giving users a larger canvas for movies, shows and other content. The projector uses Lumio's Arc Light Engine 2, which is fully sealed and dust-proof. The company says the design is intended to maintain picture clarity over extended use and is suited to Indian environmental conditions.
The new Arc 7 also gets a storage upgrade, with 32GB of internal storage, up from 16GB on the previous model. It runs Google TV on Android 14 out of the box and comes with the latest Gemini on Google TV. The projector retains features from the previous Arc 7, including STR8 auto-keystone correction, TOF autofocus and obstacle avoidance. It also comes with dual 8W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio support and a Minion Noir remote with Google Assistant.
Lumio says the Arc 7 is built in India and tested for dust, temperature and power fluctuations. The projector is backed by the company's service network of more than 300 centres and comes with a one-year comprehensive warranty.
Lumio Arc 7 (2026) Price and Availability in India
The Lumio Arc 7 (2026) is priced at Rs 34,999 in India. It will be available starting October 8, 2026, through the Lumio Store, Amazon India and Flipkart. The Lumio Arc 7 (2026) looks like a fairly focused upgrade rather than a complete redesign. The jump to 500 ANSI lumens, 1700:1 contrast, 32GB storage and a 120-inch projection size directly addresses some of the areas that matter most for a home projector, particularly brightness and storage.
At Rs 34,999, the new Arc 7 enters a competitive segment, but its combination of Google TV, a sealed light engine, built-in Dolby Audio and the larger 120-inch projection target makes it an interesting option for buyers looking to build a big-screen setup without moving to a traditional television.
