Panasonic Expands Premium Imaging Portfolio in India with the New LUMIX L10

Panasonic has expanded its premium imaging portfolio in India with the introduction of the LUMIX L10, a fixed-lens camera designed for photographers and content creators who want flagship imaging capabilities in a compact body. The launch also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the LUMIX brand, underlining Panasonic's continued focus on premium photography and video solutions.

Panasonic Lumix L10 Specifications And Features

The LUMIX L10 combines a lightweight yet premium construction with a magnesium alloy front case, metal exterior, and saffiano leather-textured finish. Weighing around 508g, Panasonic says the camera has been designed for comfortable one-handed operation, making it suitable for street, travel, lifestyle, and everyday photography.

At the heart of the camera is a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX 24-75mm F1.7-2.8 lens, paired with a 20.4MP 4/3-inch back-illuminated CMOS sensor and Panasonic's latest image processor. The setup supports Dynamic Range Boost, multi-aspect shooting, and macro photography from as close as 3cm, offering greater flexibility across different shooting scenarios.

For creators, Panasonic has introduced new film-inspired Photo Styles, including L.Classic and L.ClassicGold, alongside REAL TIME LUT support for applying custom colour profiles directly inside the camera. Through the LUMIX Lab app, users can also generate personalised LUTs using AI-powered colour analysis, simplifying creative workflows for photographers and videographers.

The camera features Phase Hybrid Autofocus with 779 focus points, supported by AI-based subject recognition capable of detecting people, animals, vehicles, and Urban Sports scenes for accurate tracking. It also includes a 2.36-million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder, a 1.84-million-dot free-angle touchscreen, MP4 (Lite) video recording, and seamless smartphone connectivity through the LUMIX Lab application for quick image transfer and editing.

Commenting on the launch, Hardeep Sarna, Business Chief, Imaging Business, Panasonic Life Solutions India, said the LUMIX L10 brings together premium LEICA optics, AI-powered autofocus, refined ergonomics, and creator-focused features such as REAL TIME LUT to meet the evolving needs of Indian photographers and content creators.

Panasonic Lumix L10 Price And Availability

The camera will be available in Black and Silver at an MRP of ₹1,79,990 starting August 2026.

With the LUMIX L10, Panasonic is targeting enthusiasts and professional creators looking for a premium fixed-lens alternative that balances portability with advanced imaging performance. Rather than competing directly with interchangeable-lens mirrorless cameras, the L10 focuses on delivering an all-in-one photography and video experience backed by Panasonic's 25 years of LUMIX innovation.
