The Vivo V27 series has launched in India today. The lineup comprises the regular V27 model along with the beefed-up V27 Pro model. These smartphones are designed to offer a premium mid-range smartphone experience to users. Both smartphones flaunt MediaTek Dimensity processors, Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13, and 50MP triple rear camera setup on the back. Vivo V27 and V27 Pro: Price in India, Availability
The Vivo V27 Pro is priced at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 39,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, and Rs 42,999 for 12GB/256GB storage. The handset is up for pre-booking starting today, March 1st, and will be available from March 6th, 2023.
The standard Vivo V27 can be picked for Rs 32,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 36,999 for the 12GB/256GB model. It will be available in India starting March 23rd, 2023. Both models will be offered in Noble Black and Magic Blue colour options.
Interested buyers can avail of up to Rs 3,500 cashback on select bank payments including ICICI, Kotak, and HDB. Prebooking is available on major retailers including Reliance Digital, Jio Digital Life, Croma, Vijay Sales, Poorvika, Sangeetha, Big C, Lot, and more.
Online offers include flat Rs 3,000 instant discount on payments made through HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak, with an additional exchange discount up to Rs 2,500. Online prebooking can be done on Flipkart and Vivo official website.
Vivo V27 and V27 Pro: Specifications
Speaking of the more premium Vivo V27 Pro first, it features a 6.78-inch Super AMOLED display with 3D curved edges. The panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ screen resolution, and 1.07 billion colours. Powering the performance of the smartphone is a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. The processor is backed by 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. Vivo has used LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage standards for faster processing and read/write speeds.
The Vivo V27 Pro runs Funtouch OS based on the latest Android 13 out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. The handset is 7.36mm thin and weighs only 182gm despite the glass sandwich construct. Connectivity options include Dual SIM support, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO, Navic, and more.
In the camera department, the V27 Pro features a triple camera rear setup with a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary camera, 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The setup is backed by an Aura Light flash, which helps in capturing stunning night portraits as per Vivo. On the front, there’s a 50MP camera for selfies and video calling.
The standard V27 variant shares its specifications with the Pro variant except for the processor. Unlike the Pro Model, V27 5G is powered by a Dimensity 7200 SoC.
