Twitter has a new rival called Threads. It's an app from Instagram and is owned by Meta.

Threads is a text-based app that allows users to share their opinion freely on the app.

Besides that, you can also follow other people and post images on Threads.

The launch of Threads adds fuel to the current Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk rivalry.

Within 8 hours of servers going live, Meta witnessed 10 million signups on Threads, which is a huge number.

To sign up on Threads, you need to have an Instagram account. You can also import your bio and pictures from Instagram.

Threads by Instagram is now available to download on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
