There is a red bar that grows longer to show you your inactivity time.It will remind you that you are not burning any calories, and you need to walk. It can also track your sleep activity. This is good if you want to plan your sleeping hours. You don't need to remove band while showering because this band is waterproof. There is no need to worry about battery, because battery life is about 1 year. You may need to change your battery after one year and this is the biggest advantage. You can sync it with your smartphone using Garmin Connect app. You can connect to the fitness community there and compare your progress. If you are doing good then you will earn virtual badges and you can check your score on leader-boards.
