Samsung is known for its high-end and mid-range smartphones running. But the company has repeatedly tried to make a play in the tablet segment as well. And for this, they use the Galaxy Tab series. Like every other brand in the market, Samsung offers its slate in different screen sizes that cater to different users and their use case. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 2021 is the latest addition to the catalogue. As the name suggests, the latest Galaxy tablet features an 8.4-inch WUXGA+ display with 1200x1920 pixels resolution. The device runs on One UI built over the Android 10 operating system. It comes powered by octa-core Exynos 7 Octa 7904 processor with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB using the microSD card slot. The tablet also has dual rear cameras that include 13MP sensor and 5MP depth sensor. While on the front, you have an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 2021 comes loaded with a 6,000mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB Type C port. The Galaxy Tab A 8.4 2021 sports a 8.4-inch WUXGA+ display with resolution of 1200x1920 pixels resolution. It comes with pixel density of 270 PPI and gets plastic textured finishing at the back. Even with bezels on the display, the overall screen to body ratio of the tablet comes to over 81 percent.
Performance, Storage, Dual Camera
The tablet is using the new Exynos 7 Octa 7904 octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and Mali-G71 MP2 graphics unit. You have 64GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 512GB using the dedicated microSD card slot. The device runs on Android-10 based One UI custom version. The Galaxy Tab 8.4 2021 comes with dual rear cameras of 13MP sensor and 5MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera that supports video recording.

While the tablet misses out on physical security scanner, you do have the face unlock to secure the device and the data stored on it. This Samsung tablet packs a 6,000mAh battery that supports fast charging and can be charged using USB Type C port. In terms of connectivity, you get Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS with GLONASS.
