It runs a Tizen-based wearable platform 3.0 operating system which offers support for Samsung's virtual assistant, Bixby. Connectivity features on the Samsung Gear Sport include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and NFC. The Gear Sport has a water-resistant rating of 5ATM or fifty meters, allowing you to track your swimming with effortless ease. Other features include a gyroscope, accelerometer, barometer, ambient light sensor and a heart rate monitor.
