OPPO has launched the Enco Air 5 Pro in India at Rs. 4,999 alongside the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra smartphones. The new TWS earbuds will be available starting May 28 through the OPPO e-Store, Flipkart, Amazon, and mainline retail stores. The Enco Air 5 Pro comes in Moonstone White and Midnight Black colour options and brings upgrades over the previous Enco Air 4 Pro, including stronger ANC, updated connectivity, and improved codec support.
OPPO Adds 55dB ANC and LHDC 5.0 Audio Support
The OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro features a 12mm dynamic driver and supports AAC, SBC, and LHDC 5.0 high-resolution audio codecs. OPPO has equipped the earbuds with up to 55dB Active Noise Cancellation alongside multiple listening modes, including ANC On, Adaptive Mode, Transparency Mode, and ANC Off, depending on the surrounding environment.
The earbuds also feature a triple-microphone setup designed to improve voice clarity during calls in crowded or outdoor environments. OPPO has additionally included a 47ms low-latency mode aimed at reducing lag during gaming and video playback. Touch controls with slide gestures for volume adjustment are also supported.
Battery Life Rated for Up to 54 Hours
In terms of battery performance, the Enco Air 5 Pro is rated for up to 54 hours of total playback with ANC turned off and up to 29 hours with ANC enabled. Each earbud houses a 62mAh battery, while the charging case packs a 530mAh battery.
OPPO says users can expect up to seven hours of playback on a single charge with ANC enabled and up to 13 hours with ANC disabled.
Enco Air 5 Pro Competes in Growing Premium Budget TWS Segment
The Enco Air 5 Pro arrives in an increasingly competitive premium budget TWS segment where brands are focusing heavily on features like stronger ANC, larger drivers, spatial audio, and longer battery life. At Rs. 4,999, OPPO's latest earbuds compete directly with products like the Realme Buds Air8 Pro, OnePlus Buds 3, and Nothing Ear.
The inclusion of LHDC 5.0 codec support gives OPPO an advantage for users with compatible Android devices, particularly within OPPO and OnePlus ecosystems. Meanwhile, the 55dB ANC claim positions the Enco Air 5 Pro among the stronger ANC-focused options in this segment, though real-world performance across different noise environments will ultimately determine how effective the noise cancellation feels during daily usage.
Battery life also remains one of the strongest selling points here. While the advertised 54-hour figure applies with ANC disabled, the 29-hour usage claim with ANC enabled still remains competitive for the price category.
