BenQ PV3250U 4K Monitor Launched in India at Rs 1,48,998 for Professional Colour Grading

BenQ has launched the PV3250U 31.5-inch 4K monitor in India at Rs 1,48,998, featuring 120Hz refresh rate, hardware colour calibration, HDR support and professional tools for colour grading and video editing.

BenQ has launched the Creative Pro PV3250U monitor in India, targeting professional colourists, video editors and post-production studios. It was announced at Broadcast India 2026, the 31.5-inch 4K UHD monitor focuses on colour accuracy, shadow detail and hardware calibration for professional video workflows.

BenQ PV3250U Specifications and Features

The BenQ PV3250U features a 31.5-inch 4K UHD display with a native contrast ratio of 3000:1 and gamma 2.4 tuning. Combined with BenQ's AQCOLOR technology and factory calibration, these specifications are designed to help colourists evaluate dark scenes and preserve subtle shadow details, particularly in Rec.709 workflows.

The monitor supports 99% DCI-P3 and 100% Rec.709 colour gamut coverage, with a stated Delta E of 1 or lower for colour accuracy. It also offers a 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10 and HLG formats. VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification enables HDR content review for supported workflows.

A key feature of the PV3250U is its 16-bit 3D LUT hardware calibration system, which uses nearly 5,000 RGB reference points for colour correction. Calibration data is stored in the monitor's internal circuitry, while BenQ AQCOLOR Pilot software supports recalibration with a compatible external calibrator to help maintain colour accuracy over time.

BenQ has also included AQCOLOR Uniformity technology, which uses micro-zone correction to improve colour and brightness consistency across the screen, including near its edges.

For post-production workflows, the monitor features Shadow Check, which temporarily lifts dark areas to reveal details that may be difficult to see in low-light scenes. Marker provides aspect-ratio and cropping guides for different delivery formats, while Area Zoom magnifies selected portions of an image for closer inspection. These tools are designed for reviewing footage and do not modify the original content. The BenQ PV3250U includes Thunderbolt 4 connectivity with support for video, data transfer and up to 96W power delivery through a compatible single-cable connection. The interface offers bandwidth of up to 40Gbps, allowing users to connect compatible computers while reducing cable clutter.

The monitor also comes with a magnetic shading hood designed to reduce ambient light and reflections during colour-critical work. Backlit on-screen display keys and the Wireless Hotkey Puck G4 provide convenient access to monitor settings, with the puck's controls configurable through Display Pilot 2 software. For audio monitoring, the built-in ESS DAC supports high-impedance headphones rated up to 300 ohms.

BenQ PV3250U Price in India and Availability

The BenQ PV3250U is available at an end-customer price of Rs 1,48,998 during October 2026. The monitor was launched in India at Broadcast India 2026. The PV3250U introduces BenQ's PV50 series to the Indian market. The 27-inch PV2750U is expected to launch at a later date, although its pricing and exact availability have not been announced.

The BenQ PV3250U is built for professionals who need consistent colour reproduction and reliable shadow evaluation rather than just a high-resolution display. Its hardware calibration, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support and dedicated inspection tools make it relevant to video editors and colourists working across demanding post-production workflows. At Rs 1,48,998, it remains a specialised, premium monitor, and its value will depend on how much users benefit from its calibration capabilities and professional workflow features.
