Philips Strengthens Audio Portfolio In India With Multi-Category Launch

Philips has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of four new products across categories, including a party speaker, multimedia speaker, soundbar, and true wireless earbuds. The new lineup is designed to cover a wide range of use cases, from personal listening to home entertainment and high-volume party setups.

Across Segments, One Strategy

The lineup is led by the TAX3004 party speaker, which is clearly built for large spaces. It delivers up to 300W output through a 12-inch woofer and includes features like bundled wireless microphones, karaoke controls, DJ effects, and the ability to sync multiple units. Portability is handled through built-in wheels and a handle, with battery life rated at up to 8 hours.

For more compact setups, the MMS2634 multimedia speaker takes a more practical approach. It offers a 2.1 channel setup with 60W output, along with Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and FM support. This makes it suitable for desks, TVs, and smaller rooms where versatility matters more than raw output.

On the personal audio side, the TAT1269 true wireless earbuds focus on accessibility. They come with 13mm drivers, up to 40 hours of playback, and fast charging support. Features like IPX5 resistance and low latency mode round out the experience for everyday use, including casual gaming and calls.

The TAB4330 soundbar sits on the home entertainment side, offering a 2.1 channel setup with a wired subwoofer and up to 320W output. With Dolby Digital support and multiple connectivity options like HDMI ARC, Bluetooth, USB, and Optical, it is designed to slot easily into a typical TV setup.

Where Philips Is Focusing

Instead of building around a single standout product, Philips is spreading its focus across categories. The idea here is reach. From entry-level earbuds to larger speakers and soundbars, the brand is trying to stay present across different usage scenarios.

There is also a clear split in intent. The earbuds target affordability and everyday convenience, while the party speaker and soundbar push toward louder, more immersive experiences. The multimedia speaker sits somewhere in between, acting as a practical all-rounder.

This kind of approach does not rely on one product to drive attention. It is more about staying visible across price points and use cases, which has been a consistent strategy in this category.

Price And Availability

The new Philips audio lineup starts at Rs. 999 for the TAT1269 true wireless earbuds and goes up to Rs. 39,999 for the TAX3004 party speaker.

All products will be available across Amazon, Flipkart, and leading offline retail stores in India, with the soundbar also being sold via Amazon and offline channels.
