Primebook 3 Max launches in India with MediaTek Genio 720: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Primebook has launched the Primebook 3 Max in India as the first laptop in its third-generation lineup. Priced at ₹35,990, the new model is powered by MediaTek's Genio 720 processor and comes with an expanded version of the company's PrimeOS operating system.

The Genio 720 is an octa-core chipset with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at up to 2.6GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at up to 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It also features an integrated NPU for on-device AI workloads. The laptop gets 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS storage, with storage expansion of up to 1TB. Primebook claims up to 40% higher performance compared with the previous generation.

A key part of the new laptop is the expanded PrimeOS experience. Primebook has introduced PrimeOffice, an offline-first productivity suite comprising PrimeDocs, PrimeSheets and PrimePresent. The operating system also provides access to select Linux applications, including VS Code, GIMP, LibreOffice, Firefox, Arduino IDE and Postman, along with a Linux terminal.

The laptop features a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display with a 1920×1080 resolution and up to 250 nits brightness. It weighs 1.597kg and includes a backlit keyboard. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, USB-A, a 3.5mm audio jack and a MicroSD card slot.

The Primebook 3 Max packs a 60.3Wh battery rated for up to 12 hours of usage and supports 36W Type-C fast charging. It also features a 5-megapixel webcam with 1440p recording.

The laptop is available through Amazon, Flipkart and Primebook's D2C store. During the festive sales, its effective price will drop to ₹33,490–₹33,990 after discounts and bank offers.
