Samsung has expanded its F-series portfolio in India with the launch of the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G, bringing a familiar mix of long software support, Galaxy AI features, and a large battery to the upper mid-range segment. Samsung is targeting buyers looking for a balanced smartphone with dependable software and long-term support.
Samsung Galaxy F70 Pro Specifications And Features
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and animations. Samsung has also included Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection, adding an extra layer of durability against scratches and accidental drops.
Under the hood, Samsung has opted for Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. While we are yet to carry out the benchmark tests, the processor should comfortably handle everyday multitasking, casual gaming, social media apps, and routine productivity tasks. The faster LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage should also contribute to quicker app launches and smoother overall performance compared to older mid-range devices.
Photography duties are handled by a 50-megapixel primary camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), accompanied by a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
On the front, Samsung has equipped the device with a 12-megapixel selfie camera that supports HDR for improved dynamic range during video calls and selfies.
One of the biggest additions to the Galaxy F70 Pro is the inclusion of several Galaxy AI features. Users get access to Circle to Search, Gemini voice assistant, AI Voice Transcription, Direct Voicemail, Now Bar, and other AI-powered productivity tools that have gradually expanded across Samsung's portfolio.
This brings some flagship-inspired software experiences to a much more affordable price point, making AI a bigger focus even in Samsung's F-series lineup.
Powering the smartphone is a 6,000mAh battery with support for 45W wired fast charging. Samsung claims the phone can deliver over 24 hours of YouTube playback, more than 8 hours of gaming, or up to 12 hours of social media usage on a single charge. While real-world endurance will ultimately depend on network conditions and usage patterns, the battery capacity itself is among the larger options available in this price segment.
The Galaxy F70 Pro 5G ships with Android 16-based One UI 8.5 and comes with Samsung's promise of six years of Android OS updates and six years of security patches.

Samsung isn't trying to win the specifications race with the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G. Instead, it is focusing on delivering a balanced package that combines a vibrant AMOLED display, reliable battery life, Galaxy AI features, and one of the best software support policies in the segment. At the effective launch price of Rs. 23,999, it enters a highly competitive category where devices from OnePlus, Nothing, iQOO and realme often offer stronger raw performance. However, buyers who value Samsung's ecosystem, long-term updates and polished One UI experience may find the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G to be a dependable option rather than simply another specs-driven smartphone.
