TECNO Launches Spark Go 3 in India With Focus on Durability and Everyday Connectivity

TECNO has launched the Spark Go 3 smartphone in India, positioning it as a device built for everyday reliability and consistent connectivity. Aimed at students, young professionals, and first-time smartphone users, the Spark Go 3 focuses on durability, smooth performance, and localised AI features at an entry-level price point.

Built for Real-World Use Cases

TECNO says the Spark Go 3 has been designed to handle the unpredictability of daily use in Indian conditions. The phone comes with IP64-rated dust and splash resistance, along with drop-ready durability, making it suitable for classrooms, outdoor work environments, delivery use cases, and frequent travel.

Despite being positioned in the affordable segment, the Spark Go 3 features a 120Hz refresh rate display, which is still uncommon at this price point. TECNO claims this offers smoother scrolling, more responsive touch input, and a viewing experience that feels closer to mid-range smartphones.

Localised AI and Low-Network Communication

One of the key highlights of the Spark Go 3 is Ella AI, TECNO's voice assistant that supports multiple Indian languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Gujarati, and Marathi. The company says this is aimed at making smartphone interactions more intuitive for users who prefer regional languages for daily tasks.

The device also includes No Network Communication 2.0, a feature designed to enable basic communication in areas with weak or no cellular connectivity. TECNO positions this as useful for factories, warehouses, basements, construction zones, and rural regions where network coverage can be inconsistent.

TECNO's Broader Push in the Entry Segment

The Spark Go 3 launch aligns with TECNO's wider strategy in India, where the brand has been steadily strengthening its presence in the affordable smartphone category. Operating under its "Desh Jaisa Dumdaar" positioning, TECNO has focused on practical features such as signal strength, durability, and battery reliability rather than purely spec-driven differentiation.

Commenting on the launch, Arijeet Talapatra, CEO of TECNO Mobile India, said the company is targeting young Indian consumers who need smartphones that can keep up with fast-paced daily routines, while offering consistency and confidence from day one.

Price, Availability, and Colour Options

The TECNO Spark Go 3 is available in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration, priced at ₹8,999. Sales will begin from January 23 through leading offline retail stores and Amazon.

The smartphone will be offered in four colour options: Titanium Grey, Ink Black, Galaxy Blue, and Aurora Purple.
