TCL is a renowned name in the display segment, offering its technology to other brands, as well as making its own products for consumers. The company has diversified into the mobile and TV space and now, it is making its foray into the tablet market with the NxtPaper. This tablet sports a 8.8-inch Full HD display with support for 1080x1400 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 10 version out of box and comes powered by quad-core MediaTek MT8768 chipset. This gets paired with 4GB RAM and offering 64GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 256GB. Being a tablet means you do not expect to see multiple cameras at the back, and that is the case with this TCL tablet as well. This device gets a single 8MP camera at the back, and a 5MP camera for video calls on the front. The tablet gets backed up with a 5,500mAh battery that gets charging support through USB Type C interface. Other TCL products in the market are the TCL 20 5G, TCL 10 Plus and the TCL 10 SE.

NxtPaper gets an 8.8-inch Full HD display that offers 1080x1400 pixels which gives you pixel density of 203 PPI. The screen has thick bezels where you have the front camera placed at the top centre. The rear camera sits inside a block at the centre as well. You will find the power button and volume rocker on the top-right of the tablet.

This tablet slots into the mid-range segment, and that has become evident with the built-in octa-core MediaTek processor on offer. It comes paired with 4GB RAM and PowerVR GE8320 GPU that handles the graphics duties. In terms of storage, you get 64GB onboard that is further expandable up to 256GB using the dedicated microSD card slot. The device features 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera for video calling.

Battery, Connectivity

TCL has packed the NxtPaper with a 5,500mAh battery that supports regular charging speed via the USB Type C port. For connectivity, the tablet has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G network, Infrared and GPS with GLONASS. Additional features include speaker on both the sides and 3.5-mm headphone jack.
