Samsung has highlighted a set of monsoon-focused features for its 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioner lineup, as the company looks to address one of the biggest seasonal challenges for Indian consumers: high indoor humidity.
The company says its latest Bespoke AI air conditioners are designed to manage excess moisture alongside cooling, while also focusing on hygiene and long-term durability. This comes as brands increasingly position air conditioners as year-round home comfort appliances instead of products meant only for peak summer.
Samsung’s Monsoon Care Focus
At the centre of Samsung’s announcement is its 3-in-1 Monsoon Care package, which combines humidity control, self-cleaning and corrosion protection.
The first feature, Comfort Drying, is designed to reduce excess moisture indoors without significantly lowering room temperature, helping make humid weather more comfortable while keeping power consumption in check.
Samsung has also included Freeze Wash, a maintenance feature that freezes and washes the indoor heat exchanger to help remove dust, mould, bacteria and allergens that can accumulate during humid weather.
The third feature, Durafin Ultra, adds an anti-corrosion coating to improve the durability of the outdoor unit in moisture-heavy environments, particularly in regions that experience prolonged monsoon seasons.
AI-Based Humidity Management
Samsung says its Bespoke AI WindFree air conditioners also feature Dry Comfort technology, which uses sensors and refrigerant flow management to automatically regulate indoor humidity without excessive cooling.
Unlike conventional Dry Mode settings that often overcool rooms while removing moisture, Samsung claims its implementation is aimed at maintaining a more comfortable indoor temperature while reducing stickiness during the monsoon season.
23-Model 2026 Lineup
The company says its 2026 Bespoke AI WindFree portfolio consists of 23 models, including 4-star energy efficiency variants. Along with AI-based cooling, the lineup also includes smart connectivity and preventive maintenance features targeted at Indian households.
Humidity Control Becomes the Bigger Monsoon Pitch
Humidity management is becoming a more prominent part of how premium air conditioners are marketed in India. While cooling performance remains the primary purchase consideration, brands are increasingly adding dedicated dehumidification, self-cleaning and corrosion-resistant features, particularly for coastal cities and regions that experience prolonged monsoon conditions.
