Black Friday is turning into a key shopping period for home appliances in India, and this year both Dreame and Haier are pushing aggressive discount strategies to capture buyer interest. The market for appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and robotic vacuum cleaners has grown steadily over the last few years, driven by higher disposable incomes and the shift towards smart home products. Brands now face competition not only from long-established players like LG, Samsung, and Whirlpool, but also from newer entrants offering value-driven smart appliances.
Dreame rolls out deep discounts across robotic vacuums and cleaning appliances

Dreame, known for its robotic vacuum cleaners and stick vacuums, has announced large price drops for Black Friday across Amazon India and select Croma stores. The company is still fairly new in India, it entered the market in 2023 but has quickly positioned itself against rivals such as Xiaomi-backed Roborock, Ecovacs, and iRobot. Dreame's strategy has focused on offering advanced navigation systems and high-speed digital motors at more accessible pricing, a segment that has seen rapid growth among urban consumers.
This year's Black Friday sale runs from 23 November to 1 December and includes major cuts on some of its flagship robotic vacuum cleaners. For example, the Dreame X40 Ultra drops from ₹1,29,999 to ₹79,999, and the L10s Ultra falls from ₹74,999 to ₹39,999. Several mid-range models like the L10 Prime and F9 Pro also see substantial reductions, bringing robotic vacuum pricing closer to the mass-market range. The company has also discounted its wet-and-dry cleaners and grooming products, making them more competitive against brands like Dyson and Philips in the stick-vacuum and hair-care categories.
Dreame has strengthened its offline presence as well. Its ‘Dreame Zones' in over 60 Croma stores allow customers to test the devices in person, which is still an important factor in the premium appliance segment. India's robotic vacuum cleaner market remains small compared to China or the US, but it is growing quickly as hybrid work setups and rising convenience-based purchasing influence demand. Dreame is betting on this momentum, supported by up to one-year warranties on its vacuums and long EMI options.
Haier launches Black Friday deals across refrigerators, TVs, ACs, microwaves, and washing machines
Haier, one of India's top-selling appliance brands, has also rolled out a broad Black Friday promotion running from 21 to 30 November. The company, already known for aggressive festive-season pricing, is extending its "Pay Re.1, Take Haier Home" offer, which lets customers take delivery by paying Re.1 upfront and converting the rest into EMIs. With players like LG, Samsung, Whirlpool, and Panasonic competing heavily in mid-to-premium refrigerators and washing machines, Haier continues to push affordability as its main differentiator.
The Black Friday deals include instant cashback of up to 25%, EMIs starting at ₹994, and long-tenure financing of up to 18 months. These offers cover Haier's range of refrigerators, washing machines, LED TVs, ACs, microwave ovens, and even robot vacuum cleaners. The company's product lineup positions it strongly in categories that are traditionally high-volume in India, such as single-door and double-door refrigerators and top-load washing machines. The broader appliance market has seen steady double-digit growth over the last year, driven by first-time buyers in tier-2 and tier-3 cities and upgrades in metro markets.
Haier's Black Friday push also aligns with India's growing appetite for smart, energy-efficient home appliances. Consumers continue to look for inverter technology, Wi-Fi-enabled controls, and better energy ratings, areas where Haier competes directly with the top Korean brands. The company's extended warranty offers this season add an additional layer of appeal for long-term buyers.
A bigger Black Friday for appliances in India
Black Friday is still a relatively new retail event in India, but appliance makers have increasingly used it to boost year-end sales. The timing works well as many consumers upgrade appliances before the wedding and holiday season. With Dreame focusing on modern cleaning tech and Haier pushing broad affordability across essential appliances, both companies are targeting different but fast-growing segments of the Indian household market.
As competition intensifies, these Black Friday deals reflect a wider trend: brands are using global sale events to drive local demand, and shoppers are now seeing some of the most competitive home-appliance pricing of the year during this period.
