Tab G62

Design

The Moto Tab G62 has a dual tone back panel. It’s available in a single colour only and the design is mundane here. It feels heavy as it weighs around 465 grams.

Display

The Tab G62 sports a 10.6-inch IPS LCD display with noticeable bezels and 60Hz refresh rate support. The huge display is ideal for everyday browsing. The colours are well-balanced.

Performance

The Snapdragon 680 SoC on the Tab G62 is not so capable. We noticed stutters and input lag when scrolling through the UI. It is not for gaming purposes.

Software

The user experience on Tab G62 is fantastic. It comes with Android 12 out of the box and there are very few bloatware present. A few apps aren’t well optimised.

Battery

A massive 7,700mAh battery on the Tab G62 lasted two days for us with heavy usage. The 20W charger takes over 2 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.

Camera

The 8MP rear camera is decent to take images. The front camera also takes good photos, with good details in decent lighting conditions.

Verdict

The competition around Moto Tab G62 such as Redmi Pad and the OPPO Pad Air look better and can be considered.
