Pros

Apple iPhone Xs Max comes with an exquisite design with a notch on top. The screen is worthy of all the praise and is appropriate for watching videos and other tasks. The camera performance is excellent and the same goes for the software and hardware performance on the phone. One of the major pros comes in the form of 5-year software update promise from Apple, which means that even after five years this phone will be in sync with the latest iOS version.

Cons

The first con that comes in our mind is the insanely high pricing of this smartphone, however, that's just how Apple's brand value works. Another shortcoming comes in the form of the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack and also the 3.5mm adapter in the box, which is usually provided by other brands that launch a smartphone without the 3.5mm headphone jack. Even after paying such high price, the buyers still don't get fast charger in the bundle, they will have to buy it separately from Apple.

Verdict

The iPhone XS Max offers substantially improved camera over the iPhone X and iPhone 8 Plus alongside dual-SIM feature (with iOS 12.1 update), but in other areas the improvements remain incremental. For the ones who can't make do without Apple ecosystem and want a large screen with optimised camera performance or the dual-SIM feature, they should upgrade to the iPhone XS Max. Otherwise, there are better alternatives in the segment, and they will also save you some cash to buy other stuff.
