Gionee has tried to re-enter the smartphone market with the launch of the K6 but the brand has failed utterly in this attempt. If a smartphone company wants to come back to the market, it should launch a phone that beats all the other phones in the segment, and not a phone that is worst among all, just like the K6 is. The biggest drawback of the device is that it comes with the 3-year old Android 7.1 OS, which sounds ancient now. Secondly, the phone has outdated camera hardware. Third, it has the old, microUSB port instead of the Type-C port that we see in smartphones nowadays. There are a lot of other drawbacks of the device but we think you get the gist from what weâ€™ve said above. There are much better smartphones available in the market for the same price as K6.
