iQOO Z5x 5G sports a 6.57-inch Super AMOLED display that offers Full HD+ screen resolution at 1080x2400 pixels with a pixel density of 409 PPI. The display comes with a notch at the top which houses the front camera. The 20:9 aspect ratio display offers larger viewing area and screen to body ratio of 83 percent. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. The main security features are on-screen fingerprint sensor built under the screen and face unlock that works through the selfie camera.
Performance, Storage, Quad Camera
The Z5x 5G comes powered by octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. The latest model gets 8GB RAM that improves the overall performance of the device. The device offers 256GB internal storage and still you can expand it further but only using the hybrid SIM slot. The phone runs on custom version built over Android 11 operating system. For imaging purpose, it has quad rear cameras that consists of 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 5MP sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone gets a 16MP selfie camera that supports video recording as well as video calls.

The iQOO Z5x comes in Lens Black, Fog Sea White, and Sandstone Orange colour options. The smartphone is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs 18,793) for which users get a 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM variant with 128GB/256GB of internal storage costs 1,699 (roughly Rs 19,963) and CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs 22,313) respectively. The device will go on presale in China from today. No details about the global availability of the handset is released by iQOO at the moment.
Apart from the 120Hz refresh rate details, the company also has revealed that the upcoming iQOO Z5x will have a five-layer liquid cooling system for better thermal management. The teaser also discloses that the smartphone will have a Wi-Fi 6 connectivity support. The device will feature a 50MP dual-camera setup, accompanied by a LED flash at the back, as per the latest teaser. If we have a recall at the previous leak, the handset is tipped to feature a 6.58-inch TFT display. Under the hood the iQOO Z5x might be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 900 5G SoC. The device is supposed to launch in with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We can expect the smartphone to boot Android 11 out of the box with Origin OS on top.
iQOO is all set to launch its next Z-series smartphone, the iQOO Z5x on October 20 in China. The company has confirmed the launch date of the iQOO Z5x via its official Weibo account today. The device has been subject to numerous leaks from the last few weeks. The iQOO Z5x was spotted at the Google Play Console and 3C certification a few days back. The smartphone had also appeared on Geekbench. The benchmark listing had revealed the possible hardware specifications of the handset.
