The iQOO Z6 5G boasts a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display which supports Full HD+ resolution. The device has water-drop-shaped which accommodates the selfie camera. The larger 20:9 aspect ratio display panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and a 401 PPI pixel density. The power button and volume rocker is located on the right side of the handset. The security aspect of the device is handled by a fingerprint sensor. The handset also has face unlock support that works through the selfie.

The iQOO Z6 5G is equipped with an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor which is accompanied by an Adreno 619 GPU. The SoC includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The handset also has a microSD card which allows storage expansion up to 1TB. The optics department of the handset is handled by a triple-camera setup, which includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the phone includes a 16MP camera that lets you click selfies, shoot videos, and make video calls. On the software front, the Z6 5G runs 12 out of the box.
