The Moto X40 packs a premium design language. The rear panel features a glass finish and comes with a triple-camera setup, while the front panel offers a punch-hole design. The display of the Moto X40 comes without bezels, which gives a minimallistic look. The phone is available in different colour options, including Smoky Black and Tourmaline Blue. The handset measures 161.2 x 74 x 8.6 mm and weighs 199 grams. The Moto X40 is loaded with a 6.67-inch bezel-less display and offers a high screen refresh rate. Moreover, the model is equipped with 395ppi pixel density and provides 16 million colours. The display also comes loaded with OLED panel and a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels. The model also features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and 90.04 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Security features include an on-screen fingerprint sensor and facial unlock.

The Moto X40 is powered by the latest octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The newest chipset from Qualcomm features Cortex X3, Cortex A715, and Cortex A510 cores clocked up to 3.2GHz. Moreover, you get a next-generation Adreno 740 GPU to handle the graphics. The Moto device features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. For optics, the Moto X40 sports a triple-camera setup on the rear panel. You get a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP telephoto sensor. On the front, the company is giving you a 60MP shooter to click selfies and videos. The Moto device runs on the Android 13 operating system with the company’s custom user interface on top of it.

For connectivity, the device supports 5G, 4G VoLTE, infrared sensor, Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS with GLONASS, dual-SIM and a USB Type-C port.
