OPPO A97 5G

The OPPO A97 5G is loaded with a premium design. The back panel comes with a triple-camera module, while the front panel offers a punch-hole cutout to house a selfie camera. The smartphone packs a 6.58-inch AMOLED display with a bezel-less screen and 88.1 per cent screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and offers 401 PPi pixel density. The OPPO A97 5G is available with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.  

The OPPO A97 5G is loaded with an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The 7nm chipset comes with Cortex A76 and Cortex A55 cores that deliver some good performance. It also comes loaded with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU to handle graphics-related tasks. The OPPO handset is loaded with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be upgraded to up to 1TB using a hybrid microSD card slot. For optics, the device flaunts a dual-camera setup with a combination of a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone packs an 8MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The OPPO A97 5G  ships with the Android 12 operating system with ColorOS running on top of it.

The smartphone gets its power from a 5,000mAh battery. The non-removable battery also supports fast charging technology, which is a handy feature in this price segment. For connectivity, OPPO has included 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with GLONASS, dual-SIM and a USB Type-C port.
