The Samsung Galaxy M72 boasts a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The display panel has a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, a Full HD+ pixel resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a pixel density of 393 PPI. The device has a thin bezels on the sides. The power and the volume keys are located towards the right side of the handset. As mentioned above for security purpose the Galaxy M72 has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face unlock support that works through the selfie camera. The Galaxy M72 boots the Android 11 operating system out of the box with the One UI 3.1 on top.

The Samsung Galaxy M72 is powered by Samsung‘s in-house octa-core Exynos 9825 processor. Thanks to the Mali-G76 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage the device offers flawless performance. You also have the ability to expand the storage beyond 128GB via microSD card support. On the backside of the device, the Galaxy M72 has a quad-camera setup. The camera module on the back includes 64MP primary main camera, 12MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP sensor and a 5MP depth camera. For selfies and video calling purpose the Galaxy M72 sports a 32MP camera.
