The bezel-less screen features a waterdrop notch design on the top centre that houses the front camera and gives you a screen-to-body ratio of 83.43 percent. The power button and volume rocker sit on the right side of the phone. The phone has a thickness of 9.1mm and weighs around 204.4gms. In terms of security features, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support that works through a selfie camera.

TCL 30 XL comes powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 chipset. The PowerVR GE8320 handles the graphical needs of the smartphone. It comes paired with 6GB RAM and offers 64GB onboard storage that is further expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. You get Android 12 as the default software on this device. The phone has a quad rear camera that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. The front of the phone has a 13MP camera that lets you click selfies, shoot videos, and take video calls.
