Verdict
Tecno Pova 5G is the company's first 5G phone in the market and it is mostly a mixed bag for our liking. It has a large 120Hz display but only with an IPS panel. It gets Dimensity 900 chipset with 8GB RAM that delivers quality performance, and offers expandable storage. However, the cameras are average for this price, so is the charging speed support for the large 6000mAh battery. Worth looking at other options for this price.

Pova 5G boasts a 6.9-inch display with support for Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2400 pixels, with a pixel density of 381 PPI. The front camera sits within the punch hole layout at the top. The 20:9 aspect ratio design offers larger viewing area and screen to body ratio of over 84 percent. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. For security purpose, Vivo is offering side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock support through the selfie camera.
Performance, Storage, Triple Camera
Tecno Pova 5G uses the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core chipset, paired with 8GB RAM and gives you 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 512GB using the dedicated card slot. The phone runs on Android 11 operating system. Pova 5G comes equipped with a dual rear camera that has 50MP primary sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. While on the front, the phone has a 16MP camera for selfies, shoot videos and take video calls.
Battery, Fast Charging, Connectivity
Tecno has loaded the Pova 5G with a large 6000mAh battery which supports fast charging via USB Type C port. For connectivity, the phone has features like Wi-Fi, 5G, Bluetooth 5.1, 4G VoLTE, USB OTG, and GPS with GLONASS.

Tecno has launched the Pova 5G in a single storage configuration in India. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The display panel has a centered punch-hole cutout, a pixel density of 480 PPI, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core 6nm Dimensity 900 processor. The smartphone packs 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
