Pros

The Xiaomi Mi A2 bosts solid build quality while also offering great performance thanks to its SD660 SoC. The fact that it features stock Android UI is excellent news for purists as you get a relatively light-weight and bloatware-free experience. The cameras on this device are also superb. This phone happens to be one of the few devices to have USB Type-C port for charging.

Cons

Sadly, Xiaomi has opted to remove the 3.5mm audio jack. Furthermore, we would have loved to see a larger battery on this device. The display is also a low point for this device as it isn't colour accurate and noticeably dim outdoors.

Verdict

The Xiaomi Mi A2 is a much-needed upgrade over the Mi A1. It offers solid build quality without comprising of functionality. The upgrade to a Snapdragon 660 chipset is highly appreciated. The cameras are also pretty decent considering the price bracket this device falls in. You also get decent battery life with fast charging support over USB Type-C. However, we do miss the 3.5mm headphone jack and are underwhelmed by this phone's display performance. The phone is still an excellent device to won and gets a solid recommendation from us.
