realme has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the realme Buds T500 Pro, targeting the budget TWS segment with a combination of high-end audio features, active noise cancellation, and extended battery life. The earbuds are positioned as a feature-heavy offering under ₹3,000, focusing on sound quality, ANC performance, and everyday usability.
The Buds T500 Pro brings 50dB adaptive active noise cancellation, which is positioned as one of the highest ANC ratings in this price segment. The system uses real-time algorithms to adjust noise cancellation based on ear fit and surroundings, aiming to deliver a more consistent listening experience across environments. For calls, the earbuds feature a six-microphone setup combined with AI-based noise reduction, designed to isolate voice and minimise background noise. The earbuds support Hi-Res Audio certification along with LHDC 5.0, enabling high-bitrate audio transmission of up to 1000kbps. They are equipped with a 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic driver, tuned to deliver a balanced output with emphasis on bass, mids, and clarity. Additional features such as 360-degree spatial audio are included to enhance immersion during music playback and video consumption.
Design and Build
The Buds T500 Pro feature a compact form factor, with each earbud weighing around 4.5 grams for improved comfort during long listening sessions. The charging case adopts a candy-box-inspired design, aiming for portability while maintaining battery capacity. The earbuds are rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, adding durability for everyday use.
Connectivity And Smart Features
The earbuds come with Bluetooth 6.1, offering improved connection stability and power efficiency. They support triple-device simultaneous connection, allowing users to switch between devices such as smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Additional features include a low-latency game mode with up to 45ms latency, AI-powered translation supporting multiple languages, and ambient sound modes aimed at focus and relaxation.
Battery Life And Fast Charging
Battery life is another key highlight, with realme claiming up to 13.5 hours of playback on a single charge and a total of up to 56 hours with the charging case. The earbuds also support fast charging, with a 10-minute charge delivering up to 10 hours of playback, making them suitable for extended daily usage.
Pricing, Colours, and Availability
The realme Buds T500 Pro are priced at ₹2,799, with an introductory price of ₹2,599 during the first sale period. The earbuds will be available starting April 23, 2026, at 12 PM via realme.com, Flipkart, Myntra, Amazon, and offline retail stores. They come in three colour options: Lemon Cola, Orange Mint, and Chocolate.
With the Buds T500 Pro, realme is clearly focusing on bringing premium audio features into the sub-₹3,000 segment. By combining high ANC levels, Hi-Res audio support, and long battery life, the earbuds aim to stand out in a category that is increasingly defined by feature density rather than just pricing.
